Youth economic empowerment is a critical factor in addressing the social determinants of health, which are the conditions in which people are born, grow, live, work, and age. Osezele Foundation believe in the vision that when young people are economically empowered, they have better access to resources that can improve their living conditions and health outcomes because financial stability can lead to improved access to quality education and healthcare, healthier living conditions, and a reduction in poverty and its associated health risks.
Moreover, empowering youths economically can create a ripple effect that benefits society as a whole because it can contribute to decrease in health disparities, health inequities, and an increase in the overall health of a population.
